Sinazo,, a group acclaimed for pioneering Kalanga house music in Zimbabwe, has followed suit to the recent release of their successful Kalanga Culture Lover EP Album with a sizzling single entitled Tapinda. This also comes after the hit track Kalanga Child landed them a double nomination at the glitz-and-glamour Bulawayo Arts Awards. Their leader Tish Malaba Ncube also won a UK award for creative writer of the year in the inaugural North of England Women's Awards and Achievers Awards for the Creative Writer of the Year Award.

"Tapinda is a song that addresses the everyday hustles of mothers and fathers in their quest to fend for their families" explains Tish Malaba. "There was a time I was looking forward to have a chilled weekend with a friend of mine but they decided last minute that they were going for an overtime night shift because they trying to raise funds for an important project for their daughter." It was at that moment when I vividly pictured the daily hustles of parents out there, including my own parents when I was growing up".

Gqom is defined by redbullmusicacademy.com, as a haunted groove built out of drawn-out synth drones, cascading tom and snare rolls and elements like chants or whistles. It often sounds like a continuous build-up with the menace of a drop that never comes, combining the trance-inducing, repetitive feel of the darkest tech-house with a spaciousness and tension akin to grime and early dubstep.

Tapinda will be found in all major online music shops like iTunes, Amazon, Googleplay and others.
