Miss Uni-Africa to end Women's month in style in SA

The Women's month will end on a high note in South Africa as Miss Uni-Africa is ready to pull down the curtain in style. With all aesthetics at her disposal ,she will also bring along unforgettable thrilling  entertainment at Museum Africa on 27 August from 6pm, under the theme:"Our African girls our Pride".

"Miss Uni-Africa is a pageant that is collaborating Africa nationals through the beauty pageant to change and recreate the mindset of foreign nationals living within one sphere of connection. We aim to rebrand the concept of migration in South Africa, to  be " My Africa, You Africa, Our Africa", irrespective of your original place of birth or geographical location",unpacked the Miss Uni-Africa Founder C.E.O Lubeluhle Banda who takes no prisoners when it comes to human rights.

As the brainchild of the pageant,  the Gwanda-born and Bulawayo groomed- Zimbabwean migrant, soapie actress and model , said when she founded it in 2015,  "the motive behind the pageant was to empower a girl child in a foreign land, at the same time strongly advocate  against xenophobia and Afro-phobia".

In this event contests from across African have been invited and last year the rainbow Africa was revealed in beautiful beams.

Banda who is also studying law at UNISA further hinted on their focus on human rights and  confirmed that preparations are now at an advanced stage, "we have gone out our way to make ends meet, our partners are also pleased and we promise more entertainment on the day as we have also selected a few entertainers from Zimbabwe and South Africa," said Banda.

Last year the event was held at the same venue-Museum Africa at Newton  and the Mozambican Ellen Mathe was crowned the Queen, then the Zimbabwean Lorina Khumalo became the First Princess ,Mzansi born Nteliseng Tsiane was the Second Princess alongside Miss Personality Dimakatso Mazwi (SA).

Just a day before the major event, On the 26th of August  there would a be a social  cohesion program scheduled to take place in town around the popular Joburg MTN tax rank. There the Joburg tax association will be engaged on topics like Xenophobia, Afrophobia. "We want to do away with black oppression ,discrimination, girl child abuse as we preach equality and oneness amongst the citizens of Africa.
