Mnangagwa reassigns 3 ministers

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has effected a Cabinet reshuffle, reassigning three ministers with immediate effect.
Dr Zhemu Soda, formerly the Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, has been appointed as the new Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.
Dr Jenfan Muswere, who previously held the Information portfolio, will now oversee the newly created Ministry of Skills Audit and Development.
Professor Paul Mavima has been appointed as the new Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, taking over Dr Soda's previous role.
In a statement yesterday, Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya, said the reassignments were made under Section 104, Subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.
"The President, Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has re-assigned the under-listed ministers as follows: Hon Dr Jenfan Muswere: Minister of Skills Audit and Development; Hon Prof Paul Mavima: Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities; Hon Dr Zhemu Soda: Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services. The re-assignments are with immediate effect," Dr Rushwaya said.
The reshuffle comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen government administration and align ministerial portfolios with national development priorities.
