Harare Residents Trust has accused the Harare City Council of failing to heed residents calls to reduce administration officers salaries amid reports the prospective town clerk is expected to earn a whopping $10 475.
"The new Town Clerk will be earning $10475 this is beyond the government directive of capping this salary at $9000. The City of Harare has a history of not listening to the voice of stakeholders. There is no reason or justification to increase this amount to $10 000," said the trust.
