ARRIVAL

Prophet Walter Magaya shook Capetown International Airport upon his arrival on Thursday ahead of his three day conference at Newlands Cricket Stadium.

South Africa police moved swiftly and beefed up security as people lined up to receive Prophet Magaya with some squeezing through to only touch his garments.

"I have never witnessed something like this in my time here, I only read it in the Bible that people who had faith if Jesus Christ wrestled with the disciples to make their way to touch his garment for healing and that's what happened at this airport today," said one of the security guards.

"I want to believe this Prophet is highly anointed, he is tall and moves fast that I wish to be by his side," he added.

Prophet Magaya received an honour from local authorities in full view of thousands of people and visited the venue where most of his followers were waiting and blessed them.

Newlands Cricket Stadium authorities made sure enough security was provided and advised Prophet Magaya to strictly conduct his services during the day to avoid stampedes during the conference.

SIPHO MAKABANE

SOUTH Africa gospel musician Sipho Makabane hailed Prophet Magaya for affording him time to be viewed live on Yadah television performing during the conference at Newlands Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Makabane told H-METRO backstage that he is longing to meet his fans in Zimbabwe.

"I love Zimbabweans they are the ones who supported me much when I released my songs like Enkintokozo," said Makabane.

"It is an honour to be afforded an opportunity by Prophet Magaya to be viewed live on his television Yadah and I thank him much and feel rejuvenated, I received his blessing," said Makabane.

It's my joy to minister along with Prophet sharing the stage with him.

"I remember failing to communicate with journalists at Harare International Airport upon my arrival since I only managed to learn up to standard 3 and my English language was a challenge.

"I love Zimbabweans and wish to visit them and share my latest album ‘My journey' which I wrote after an accident in 2014.

"If I find work in Zimbabwe I will take more time in that country because they really supported me," said Makabane.

He took an opportunity to give his testimony saying he nearly lost his life in a road traffic accident but God saved him.

Makabane urged people to remain rooted in the word of God during trials saying challenges take people to where God want them to be.

He put up a splendid performance and could not return on stage according to the program after people forced Prophet Magaya to lay his hands on them.

SA CHURCH LEADERS ON MAGAYA

VARIOUS church leaders hailed Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya describing him as highly anointed following the big crowd that thronged Newlands Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Evangelical Mission Church Apostle Stephanie said South Africa is blessed for receiving Prophet Magaya.

"Prophet Magaya is a wonderful person, anointed and I also came to support him," said Apostle Stephanie.

Government officials including members of parliament and captains of industries attended the service on Saturday and Prophet Magaya took almost two hours teaching on how to break through into a better life.

Prophet Magaya reiterated the need to have a teachable character and adding knowledge to succeed using opportunities created for everyone by God.

"It is not that I am more holy than all of you because some listening to me are better but standing before such a crowd is an opportunity given to me by God and it is necessary to take what God is saying to whoever is hearing my words," said Prophet Magaya. Many were surprised with his teachings quoting holy scriptures from the book of Isiah 46:10 saying a good ending to any race is more important than the start since all begin from the same line. Prophet Magaya would get into the crowd praying for the sick during the teaching as many brought their sick to the stadium.
