Zanu-PF's Shiri bounce back

Zanu-PF Midlands Province has co-opted Central Committee member, Godwill Shiri to take over the position of a substantive provincial deputy chairman.
Shiri replaces Kizito Chivamba who died in April this year.
The decision to appoint Shiri was announced at a Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting that was held at the party's Convention Centre in Gweru.
Speaking to the ZBC News on the sidelines of the PCC, the party's Provincial Spokesperson, Cornilious Mupereri said the province has appointed a war veteran and a man with a solid and traceable history in the party.
Although they have no date as yet, youths from the province have already started mobilising people and resources in preparation for the Presidential Youth Interface rally in the province.
The PCC meeting was attended by Midlands Minister of State Jason Machaya, Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Engineer Tapiwa Matangaidze and other senior party members.
