A SELF-CONFESSED lady of the night was recently given a thrashing by a gang of four men who allegedly left her after she had soiled herself, a court heard.
The culprit, Peter Tsuro, 21, along with his accomplices Takaendeswa Tsuro, 24, Tawanda Madzudzo, 19, and four others, who are still at large, stood in the dock charged with assault and theft.
They all denied the charges when they appeared before Mbare magistrate Rebecca Kavhiya.
Allegations against the trio and others arose on January 11 at around 3am in Hopley Farm, Waterfalls when Peter met Mildred Gezi, 22, at a shabeen. The two agreed to spend the night together for a fee of US$10.
During the course of the night, Peter was attacked by an unknown person while he was at Mildred's house and ran for his dear life in his birthday suit.
It is alleged that after Peter had left the love nest in a huff, he returned after an hour accompanied by his accomplices and forcibly opened Mildred's door.
The State had it that they attacked her with belts and golf clubs all over her body.
During the assault Peter allegedly demanded cash from Mildred and was given US$30 before they disappeared.
After the gang had left, Mildred discovered that her cellphone was missing and filed a report with the police leading to the arrest of the trio.
She sustained some serious injuries as evidenced by a medical affidavit which was produced in court.
The gang will be back in court on January 27 for trial continuation.
