MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa has accused President Emmerson Mnangagwa of auctioning the country under the Zimbabwe is open for business mantra and has reiterated his plans to review all deals signed by the current administration.

Chamisa, who is on a campaign trail in Matabeleland North Province on Sunday descended on Hwange where he addressed the party supporters.

While the world has been warming up to Zimbabwe and embracing the Zimbabwe is open for business mantra as evidenced by increased investment proposals amounting to over US$10 billion, Chamisa accused the President of auctioning the country.

According to MDC Alliance leader, his party will review all deals signed under the current administration, a call he has made before.

"Now he [President Mnangagwa] is telling us that Zimbabwe is open for business. It is clear that Zimbabwe is now being auctioned by President Mnangagwa. There is now scramble for Zimbabwe. It is free for all, we don't want that situation to prevail," he said.

Chamisa also told the gathering that the party has developed strong ties with the Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) and the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) as well as some members within the Zanu-PF party in ensuring victory.

Fears engulfed the stadium when the stage on which the MDC Alliance leader and some of the party's local authority candidates were standing on collapsed.

There was a sigh of relief as no one got injured, however, some members felt it was a sign of what might transpire to the party come July 30.

The MDC Alliance leader concluded his Sunday rallies by addressing party supporters at Chinotimba Stadium in Victoria Falls where is promised to turn the resort town into Las Vegas of Africa.
