'No magistrate in Zimbabwe or the region is qualified to try me,' says Guvamombe

Suspended Chief Magistrate Mishrod Guvamombe has lodged an application for Hwange Magistrate Collette Ncube to recuse himself as he is conflicted from presiding over him as he is a subordinate.

Guvamombe further told the court through his counsel Jonathan Samukange that no magistrate in Zimbabwe or in the region, retired or serving, is qualified to preside over his case as he is the chief administrator of magistrates in the country.

Guvamombe has requested to be tried by the High Court.
