President Mugabe on Wednesday speaking at the launch of the Anti-sanctions Petition Campaign held in Harare, urged Zimbabweans to boycott the American products and take action against those British and American companies operating in Zimbabwe.
"Standard Chartered has been doing badly in Europe, but doing best in Zimbabwe's capital, Harare. Stanchart in Harare has thus been externalising funds for the benefit of the branches in Europe. We are going to make sure we take action against these European and American banks operating in Zimbabwe, Stanchart and Barclays.
"We have been sending our beef and tea to them (Americans and British), but they have not acknowledged this," the President said.
Mugabe urged all Zimbabweans to work together in unity to fight the illegal sanctions by the west.
