Leonard Dube wants people to register to vote
JOHANNESBURG - South African Provincial chairperson Leonard Dube of MDC led by Professor Welshman Ncube has urged Zimbabweans here to go home and register to vote.
Speaking exclusively to Bulawayo24 News, Dube mentioned that "now it's the really time to register to vote".
His utterances comes a few months before a crucial election that will see presidential debutant Professor Ncube , President Robert Mugabe square-off against Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai in a third election contest.
"Complete change is possible now as it's high time for everyone in Diaspora to register to vote. Please go back home and register, we are tired of seeing scores of our scattered people suffering in foreign lands and this is your last chance to remove Zanu (pf) and its leader Mugabe with cronies. We are in the final phase of our struggle and I can assure you with all your relatives registered to vote, Zimbabwe will be returned to the majority rule. Your majority vote will only shame Mugabe out of office," Dube.
Since assuming office, the Dube led administration has been busy helping the needy Zimbabweans across the country.
Last year, he made news headlines when he toured greater Joburg District which includes Diepsloot, Tembisa, Ekurhuleni and Soweto where he donated food stuffs across Zimbabwean community members.
He further went on and mobilised celebrations for Professor Welshman Ncube's birthday by donating food stuffs which included more than 300 loaves of breads, mealie-mealie, relishes and other daily basic commodities needed in daily life to more than 300 refugees.
