As the illegal land grabs continue to rock the country, an Ex Zipra cadre John Gazi has said some yet unknown people have invaded his farm and pitched some tents in front of his farm house a move which he said was meant to intimidate and force him to vacate the farm.
The developments come at a time when Zanu PF supporters recently invaded the same cattle ranch owned by Gazi.
The Zanu PF supporters began allocating each other portions of the 1 000-hectare Honey Bird Kop Farm, about 40km along the Bulawayo-Plumtree road.
Gazi posted on Facebook that just last week another provocation was committed at his farm.
"Unknown people have pitched a tent in front of my farmhouse this morning. I went to report to Nkulumane police station and an Inspector at the station who on Wednesday ordered my incarceration refused to give me police details to attend to the scene. He claims it is an area outside his policing area yet he arretsed me on Wednesday and took me to court for defending my property," he said.
There has been numerous invasion of farms in Matabeleland by outsiders who even invaded Zapu Leader Dumiso Dabengwa's farm.
