The ex-ZANU-PF member Ms Tracy Mutinhiri is a hypocrite who is denying that she joined MDC-T after her expulsion by the party recently. She said she cannot defect to MDC-T now because of some uncertainties. However, she is grudgingly pledging to corrupt some vulnerable ZANU-PF members to associate with her covertly in efforts to oust her ex-husband Rt Brigadier Ambrose Mutinhiri from Marondera West House of Assembly seat in the next polls expected in March 2012. She seems to be fighting a long standing grudge emanating from their divorce a few years ago.

An unnamed MDC-T Mashonaland East Provincial member said, "Tracy is one of us as indicated by Nelson Chamisa and for now she is content to remain in the shadows until she know it is safe to be publicly recognized as MDC. She will continue work with us incognito and we don't have any problem with that."

Last Sunday Nelson Chamisa, the MDC-T national organising secretary speaking at a rally in his Kuwadzana East Constituents, declared that Tracy Mutinhiri was now his political party's latest convert. Despite such claims by MDC-T, Ms Tracy Mutinhiri continues to blatantly deny it as false. Chamisa re-asserted that, there were other ZANU-PF legislators who voted on the MDC-T side during elections for the post of Speaker of the House of Assembly. When contacted for comment Ms Mutinhiri said, "Did you see at the rally? Why don't you conform through seeing the person at the rally? Please allow me to rest."

Tracy was expelled from the party after she was found guilty of recalcitrance and inconsistence in her party allegiance. Mashonaland East executive said she was no longer working for the party. A unanimous decision was reached to expel her as she appeared to be a thorny in the flesh.

Ms Mutinhiri lacked elementary political principles which could have guided her political transactions. That confusionist lack of foresight cost her dearly. At the time of her expulsion she was a ZANU-PF Marondera East Member of Parliament and deputy Minister of Labour.

'Mutinhiri represents some other hypocrites who are failing to come out openly declaring their love-loss with the party. They continue to claim that they are ZANU-PF supporters when they abandoned the party a long time ago. However, time will tell and we will catch up with them and shame them in the same way we did with Tracy," said a senior ZANU-PF Politburo member who did not want to be named.
