Shoko Hub Unconference set kick off its 3rd Edition

Zimbabwe's premium annual New Media conference, Shoko Festival Hub UnConference 2016 is set kick off its 3rd Edition running along Shoko Festival from the 23rd to the 24th at the Harare City Library.  The Conference has over the years established itself as a must attend conference for citizen journalists, media practitioners, active citizens, tech entrepreneurs among many other individuals with an interest in new media.  

At the Hub there will be Zimbabweans leading startup founder and international renowned from the leading media houses from USA, UK, Uganda and Zambia who will speak on various topical issues in the media. Some of the topics include content creation, tech entrepreneurship, net neutrality and many more.  Entry is free however one is required to RSVP prior to attending the conference and the event provides a  unique networking platform with media professionals from around the world.

Creatives with burning ideas along new media, environment, tech entrepreneurship and other topical issues will get a rare chance to send in their concepts and stand a chance to pitch the idea to the conference participants and win a grant to fund their concepts. This is the same platform that has seen the advancement of startups such as Bustop Tv, Tv Yangu, Spiked News and many others.
