The Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch and Nation, Prince Mangosothu Buthelezi
On behalf of the people of Mthwakazi, we wish to convey our deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekuzulu to his bereaved family and the Zulu nation at large.
The late King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekuzulu was one of the first to recognise, sympathise and support the continuing struggle of the people of Mthwakazi, resulting in his, Majesty's recognition of our first Mthwakazi Chief, the late Chief Albert Zwelibanzi Gumede. Subsequent to that the late King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekuzulu, extended an invitation in which he granted us the opportunity to relate the suffering of the people of Mthwakazi, during the commemoration of the Battle of Isandlwana, at Isandlwana in January 2016.
Our first Mthwakazi Liberation Front (MLF) President, Mr Fidelis "Nandinandi" Ncube gave an historic and moving address about the plight of the people of Mthwakazi dating back over 200 years before the late King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekuzulu, attended amongst others by thousands of Zulu warriors, as well as the Traditional Prime Minister, Prince Mangosothu Buthelezi Ka Phindangene.
Thereafter the late King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekuzulu authorized the participation of some of his chiefs led by Chief Ndwandwe, whenever the late Chief Albert Zwelibanzi Gumede led those based in South Africa to commemorate the late King Mzilikazi day Kwa Bulawayo and Gadade in Ntabazinduna.
As we extend our heartfelt sadness and condolences to the untimely passing of King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekuzulu, we hope that the Zulu nation will continue to play a pivotal role in support of the liberation of the people of Mthwakazi.
May the late King, His Majesty rest in eternal peace.
