As the promoters of Matebeleland/ Mthwakazi artworks, we write to express our heart felt thanks to the residents of Hillbrow and the surrounding areas for their support and good behaviour they displayed during the CD launch of Amalanda Amhlophe. We are sincerely short of words to express our thanks to all communities who attended.

The launch happened on Saturday 02 April 2016 and it attracted over 500 followers, which we did not expect to happen considering that we had limited resources to advertise the event.

Thirty two Maskandi music groups, which included Abafana bakaMzilikazi, the rising female Maskandi sensation, Igqishamkantsha, Matty and the living waters, the multi-talented South African born Ischomane Sangempela, Abafana Besgqoza, Amabhidi Amnyama, Idlamuva, Indukuzenxele, Umdak' omnyama, Amachwane Amahle, just to mention a few, kept the cheerful crowds on the sides of their chairs. The night has never been that short.

Again we are very much thankful of the support Hillbrow communities gave us and we request that they continue supporting Mthwakazi artworks not only for the good of the artists but as a way of priding in what they ought to identify themselves with, for true revival, and restoration of their long lost identity and culture.
