Floods block traffic in Gwanda

Traffic was brought to a standstill at Mtshabezi Bridge which connects Gwanda and several mining settlements due to floods.
The narrow bridge was submerged in water due to heavy rains.
Several cars from Blanket Mine and Vumbachikwe could not pass the river.
Calls to expand the bridge which is a few metres from Mount Cazalet Primary School has fallen on deaf ears.
