Home Affairs meeting update - Zimbabwe permits

08 Oct 2014 at 19:53hrs | Views
The meeting with the Home Affairs Directors, VFS, the SAPS went on today in Pretoria.

The process is being rectified to cope with the pressure. People are encouraged to apply because time is moving. A new booking method for appointments is being introduced.

For help to renew your DZP and book an appointment, call the MWA-SA appointed agent on: 0630731370 or 0833485539. Call from anywhere in South Africa, they will assist you. Their contact person attended the meeting and has the latest information on issues for the renewal of permits.

On POLICE CLEARANCE: A member of the SAPS said that people should be told not to go to the police stations, they have instructed their stations to turn people back. We told people long back that they should wait because when the Minister announced early August, we were told that VFS would do the finger print clearance.

MWA-SA is moving forward to establish structures through out South Africa and SADC Region. We believe in Union Power and today we attended the meeting at COSATU in order to move that work forward.

I still take calls though and direct people for help but I am not coping with the whatsapp messages.

All the best - MWA-SA (At your service).
