Frozen Bank accounts for ZSP applicants
10 Jan 2015 at 10:07hrs | Views
Good day everyone, yesterday we had a client who presented a case of a frozen bank account.
We emailed Mr G. Muti, the Home Affairs Director who is the ZSP Project Manager, a very helpful person. He responded today asking us to email the names of the people with frozen bank accounts and the names of the banks that are freezing accounts so that he engages them.
Please note that we can't gather all the names but we feel it is crucial that we have this issue addressed now because the 31st of December 2014, which was set as the expiry date for DZP has passed. If the banks do not get ANOTHER DIRECT MEMORANDUM from Home Affairs, come end of January, people's salaries will be locked up.
It is also important for us to produce evidence of the cases we are talking about.
Those affected, please visit our office at: 301, 3rd Floor, Budget House, 130 Main Street, close to Carlton Centre, Johannesburg. Or Call: 0817053607.
We need about 10 or so cases to push on this issue.
Have a good day.
