The citizen's prayer: (day 1) deliver us from evil

Father in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, look at the evil that we are subjected to as the citizens of Zimbabwe. You said in Jeremiah 1 v 12 that you 'watch over your word to perform it' and today as a citizen of Zimbabwe and as your child Lord i remind you to remember how you taught us to pray. You says in Matthew 6 v 13 to pray that you 'deliver us from evil'.
Lord deliver us from the evil of this government. They killed people during Gukurahundi and never repented, the destroyed the economy and we are unable to worship you with our tithes and offerings because of them. They scattered our families leading us into broken families and fornication. They destroyed all employment opportunities leading us to drugs, crime, immorality and laziness. They have abused the orphan, the widow, the elderly and the fatherless.
Until when Lord will you let such evil run our streets and preside over your people? Please God, you are our only savior, not MDC-T, not Mujuru, not G40, not Lacoste but only you Lord can deliver us from this evil leadership system.
We trust you God that you hear and shall deliver us from this evil government. Cause this evil government to be destroyed and its leaders to face the wrath of your judgement.
We ask everything in Jesus Christ's name - AMEN!
