Zimbabwe's senior men's team, the Warriors African Cup of Nations camp
got off to a horrible start with players facing accommodation
challengers.
The Warriors were supposed to have initially camped at the ZIFA Village but the current state and conditions of the facility are not suitable for team at the moment leading to officials running around to make alternative accommodation.
According to reports, as of last night ZIFA had managed to secure accommodation at a local hotel for Warriors to check in with training now expected to begin today.
Coach Kalisto Pasuwa is yet to announce the final squad.
CAF has set a Friday deadline for participating teams to submit final squads.
Any nation that fails to meet the Caf deadline attracts a substantial fine and will have its player allocation reduced to 22.
Zimbabwe, in Group B, will begin their Afcon campaign with a match against Algeria on January 15, before taking on Senegal four days later.
They would conclude their group matches against Tunisia on January 23.
