Injury cost Gombami Cercle Brugge contract

Former Highlanders player, Honour Gombami perennial injuries has forced his Belgian club, Cercle Brugge not to review his contract as he is said to be a risk.
"My contract with Cercle Brugge ended on June 30 and they told me that they would not renew the contract since i have stayed long without playing" said Gombami who suffered a nasty injury in 2009.
He only played three games after recovering.
Gombami said he is now finalizing a new deal with second division one side, Antwerp.
He said he is not worried that he would be playing in a lower division.
Gombami was part of Bosso championship winning side of 2006.
