STEELY Highlanders defender and captain Innocent Mapuranga, received his first national team call-up yesterday, which he believes was long overdue and if given a chance to play, he will fully utilise the opportunity and repay coach Rahman Gumbo's trust in him.

The squad has three of Mapuranga's teammates; goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda, left back Bruce Kangwa and midfielder Peter Moyo.
Other new faces in the squad include Chicken Inn midfielder Danny Phiri as well as Bufalloes' Prosper Matizanadzo.
