Zimbabwe's Warriors lost 5-4 on penalties to Zambia in a four nations tournament played in Ndola, Zambia this afternoon.
The Warriors surrendered their lead twice to draw 2-all in regulation time and the tie was to be decided on penalties.
A 46th-minute own goal by a Zambian defender put the Warriors ahead but Justin Shonga equalised in the 64th minute.
Talent Chawapiwa restored Zimbabwe's lead but the Zambians equalised again in the 93 minute.
Zimbabwe eventually lost the tie 5-4 on penalties and will meet Angola in a third and fourth place play off.
The four nations tournament final will feature Zambia and South Africa, who beat Angola 6-5 on penalties in an early fixture that had ended 1-all in regulation time.
