Zimbabwe senior men's national soccer team, the Warrios have fallen two places down the FIFA rankings released on Thursday and are now number 92 in the world.
Inactivity cost Zimbabwe points in the World FIFA rankings, and the Warriors are now number 24 in Africa.
The Warriors were not in action when most African teams played in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers while European teams competed in the EURO 2016 qualifiers.
The qualifiers however did not serve Angola, who fell in spectacular fashion, dropping a massive 26 points to land at number 101 in the world.
Mozambique who are also playing in the qualifiers also dropped two points and are now on number 109.
Impressive were the Teranga Lions of Senegal, who moved up 23 places and are now the fifth best team in Africa.
Algeria are still the best African team and are 20th in the world.
Cote d'Ivoire, Tunisia, Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Guinea and Burkina Faso complete the top 10 in Africa.
At the world stage, Germany maintained pole position followed by Argentina.
Colombia moved in to third, swapping places with the Netherlands.
Belgium, Brazil, Uruguay, Spain, France and Switzerland complete the world's top 10.
