Former Border Strikers coach Saul Chaminuka has made  bizzare claims that he was never employed by the Beitbridge team but was merely doing 'national service".

According to Chaminuka he was just helping the team saying the club chairman is his personal friend.

However, he now says his personal friend Corbat Moyo is 'unprofesional".

"The Chairman Corbat Moyo needs to learn a lot about football before he becomes chairman of the club.

"I do not fight people especially in the press but I hope the whole executive will start pulling in the right direction than the opposite way a thing they were doing during my days at the club.

"I was even surprised to hear the secretary general saying nonsense in the paper. I was never away from the club".

He added "For the record I was not employed but I was just offering my services to the club because the chairman is my personal friend. I was just helping and in short that was national service.

A bitter Chaminuka has even said Border Strikers will be relegated "even if they employ a coach from the moon".
