They will perform at the two Mtukudzi Africa Day Concerts to be held at Caversham Mill in Dargle, KZN Midlands, on May 24 and at the Rainbow Restaurant in Pinetown on May 25.
Sibongiseni Shabalala, the leader of Shabalala Rhythm and the son of Ladysmith Black Mambazo leader Joseph Shabalala, said after they recorded songs with Mtukudzi they had people calling and begging them to do a show with him.
"We're trying to unite African artistes and do things the African way," Sibongiseni said.
He said songs like Siyana Naye and Please Call Me, in which they collaborated with Mtukudzi, are bound to mesmerise the audience.
Siyana Naye has received several awards, including the best Afro-pop song at the Satmas and best video at the Samas.
Other artistes in the line-up are Akale Wube from France and a maskandi mlungu known as Qadasi, whose real name is David Jenkins.
"We chose small venues because we're still piloting our project of inviting African artistes to South Africa, especially to KZN," Sibongiseni said.
