D2 releases new Single - 'MaRandz NemaDollars'

SA based House artist and producer, Darlington Sibanda better known as D2 has dropped yet another soul-melting track titled 'MaRands NemaDollarz'.

The 25 year-old artist who is currently with Deep City Music was born in Hwange-Zimbabwe and delved into music at the age 17. He has since become a voice to reckon with, having kick-started a full time musical career at a tender age.

"MaRands NemaDollarz" is a message aimed at encouraging African youths in particular Zimbabwean youths scattered all over the world to hustle harder if they are to make money. "This world is run by billionaires; we can be part of that. All we gotta do is hustle and hustle hard" says D2. Furthermore, he says the song is a tribute to those that have already made it big in the hustle as well as wishing all emerging stars a successful journey in their musical hustle.

"MaRandz NemaDollarz" came at a great time when I felt I needed to show the fun, care-free side to me and also always wanted to work with Mr Bond, Cooper and Dj Face and thought they would be perfect not just for the sound but for the feeling and show my appreciation to them as artists. This sound is totally new for me and I absolutely love it and I hope everyone who hears it does too," states D2.

MaRand NemaDollars is a blend of Urban Pop and Tribal House that has a catchy hook which is addictive to the ear. This song created by artists from different backgrounds is a feel good party song that appeals to the young market. D2's first two singles, Batai Munhu and AmaBen 10, were well received by the market and MaRands NemaDollars is already proving to be a winner.

"The single will be on playlist rotation on all Zimbabwean and South African conventional, digital and internet radio. We decided to spice our release schedule this time around, we giving debut priority to radio stations and digital downloads before the song is available anywhere else. We acknowledge the role radios play in promoting as well as rating our work, hence making them a priority" said Mthulisi Ncube better known as Nesty Don Houz the Founder and CEO at Deep City Music

MaRands NemaDollarz was produced by D2 and Mr Bond, arranged by Dj Logix and Dj Master and mastered by Dj Face at Deep City Music in Midrand, Johannesburg.
