Iyasa member 'Nkwali' nominated for ZIWA Musician of The Year award

Nomathamsanqa Mkwananzi popularly known as Nkwali has been nominated for 2016 ZIWA  musician of the year award.

Although she does not need any introduction in arts sectors a she has been with IYASA everywhere. Nkwali  is infact one of the founder members of IYASA .

She has toured the world with the award winning group and has been in big productions like Mother Africa as lead singer. She recently launched a solo career under her artist name Nkwali.

Nkwali's  debut album Sithokozile already won the ZIMA best acapella album award . Her voice has a wow effect that has seen her perform at Dolly Parton's Dollywood festival.

Nkwali is currently on IYASA's annual tour in Austria to be concluded this week then they will touch  down in South Africa for a day before proceeding to Bulawayo.

"I think Noma has come of age. She is destined for even greater heights. She can match the best on any other day and on any stage. When she sings you cannot ignore her. Her voice has the wow effect of the Whitney Houston and Mariam Makebas in our time. Zimbabwe and the world just need to support her, the rest will be taken care by her amazing talent", said Dube from his current base in Austria.
