AWARD-winning South African gospel artiste Solly Mahlangu will next month perform in Bulawayo.
Mahlangu will be in the city on 1 September for the annual Harvest International Church Apostolic/ Prophetic Conference at ZITF Hall Number 4. Entertainment will also be provided by Harare-based gospel group, ZimPraise, who have won many fans across the country with their songs.
This year's conference which is running under the theme, Year Of Jubilee, will see preachers from the country and the region taking morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Bishop Tudor Bismark, Apostle Mosa Solo and Reverend Elias Ndeda are some of the preachers who will be ministering at the conference.
Joyous Celebration, Keke, Benjamin Dube and Solly Mahlangu have all performed at this annual conference before.
In an interview, Busisani Ncube Sangweni of Harvest House said the conference will run from 26 August to 1 September.
Mahlangu will hold praise and worship every afternoon starting on 27 August to 31 August. These workshops are open to members of the public and all one needs to do is register at Harvest House International Church.
"Solly has served in the ministry for over 20 years as a praise and worship leader and music director. He at one time was national music director at Victory Fellowship Church under the leadership of Dr Maphala. This is a chance for Zimbabwe and Bulawayo to learn a lot from him during the praise and worship seminars," said Ncube.
