According 2 marxism those who own the means of production make laws.the police serves as repressive apparatus that enforce e law.Police recieve orders without quastioning.

Its a ridiculous police exercise. Everyone knows that the Zim police is above the law because it is a partisan police that does not do any good to the public. With the way things are , I think there's no Rule of law in Zimbabwe and this is usually associated with elements of dictatorship in which all the powers are centralised in the President. In this case the Judiciary has before an ineffective body that has to serve only the executive. This is too disrepectful of the law and something has to be done about it.

Police are not above the law but they take orders from those who eat with Chihuri. Why didnt the cops just obey the order then bring her to court if the think she was wrong??? I strongly beieve they (Zanu) have lost power in their imagination now they use police as a tool of oppression

  • God s Oracle

    19 Mar 2013 at 12:06hrs

We need to understand that ZRP is an institution that works under authority of the President and to question their action is like dealing with the leaves of tree. The real issue here should be asking who is behind their acts....

  • Thunalengane

    19 Mar 2013 at 12:04hrs

ZRP are simple taking orders from ZANU politicians&they are afraid might endup loosing their jobs, iam telling you Zimbabwe is going nowhere with thugs in power, its worse than Smith era

ZRP are the law themself I hate them to the fullest

  • The colonel

    19 Mar 2013 at 11:55hrs

there is nothing wrong with ZRP, those guys are simply taking orders from above, there is no reason for a mere police detective assistant inspector to ignore a high court order without instructions from above. this comes from as high as the President himself, i have worked for uniformed forces before and i know how the system works.

There is something wrong in this country when one talk about lawlessness in the country he/she becomes a wrong person. But truelly speaking people do not eat sovereign in the country but want bread and butter on their tables

  • Anonymous user

ZRP can create alaw that works and favour them for as long as they can get satisfied then the law will be over and does nt exist anymore. Once you open a case against a ZRP member you also got charged {fabricated} to silence you. They are above the law I'm talking from experiance.

It would be interesting if Beatrice sued Home Affairs, Chihuri in his personal capacity and the whole lot of unprofessional idiots from CID Law and Order for unlawful detention and contempt of court. Surely any court worth its salt should deliver a conviction

  • paul

    19 Mar 2013 at 10:19hrs

Yes they are above the law they have shown it time after time.you see ZRP does not talk but they act their power, the courts talk their power but don't act there power that's the difference...they is no freedom in Zimbabwe as long as the people don't have power....they is paper freedom now.what we need is people power
