MRP President interacts with Makokoba residents

Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) President on Saturday interacted with Makokoba residents in a campaign for the 2018 elections.
Party's spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo said Team MRP took their campaign to Makokoba and surrounding areas, as well as Efusini where the President interacted with people there many of whom showed their willingness to join MRP.
"Makhokhoba residents complained that the good for nothing Zanu PF, is only good at handing out food hampers to them instead of dealing with real issues. Tshinga Dube is also a failure and a disappointment, in Makokoba people want real development not maize seeds when they don't have farming land," he said.
"The people there most of whom vendors want the local council repair the market place better known as EMkambo, put shade there and cement floors because during raining season they struggle to display their wares. Others complained over the sewer system collapse in Makokoba. Vendors at a Renkini terminus who have stands also complained that illegally vendors are removing them from business, while those illegal ones mostly women and youths also complained that they only want jobs not vending. "
"Sisebenzela amapholisa khonapha mtanami asikufuni lokhu ukube sitshona sigijinyiswa ngabantwanyana kuyasikhupha isithunzi lokhu," one elderly vendor told the MRP members.
"We will continue to engage our people in their homes and work places as we chat the way forward. MRP has been preaching the gospel of Restoration, Empowerment, Self-determination, and Transformation "REST" as articulated in the soon to be realised Mthwakazi Master Plan dupped "REST INDLOVU MANIFESTO," Gumbo said.
