2 killed as bus collides with truck's tailboard

A tragic incident occurred as a CAG bus collided with the rear of a truck, resulting in the loss of two lives and injuries to thirty others.
In an official statement, the police confirmed the fatal road traffic accident, which took place at the 30-kilometer mark along Gokwe-Siabuwa Road. The accident involved a CAG bus carrying 50 passengers and a Hino truck with six passengers. The collision caused the Hino truck to swerve off the road to the left, leading to it overturning and eventually landing back on its wheels. Meanwhile, the bus veered off the road and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.
Tragically, two individuals lost their lives in the accident, and the injured were promptly transported to Gokwe District Hospital for medical attention and post-mortem examinations for the deceased.
