Gweru city set to have water disconnection on Wednesday

Gweru city will have water disconnection as from, November 18 on wards due to the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company power disconnection of the Gwenoro Water Treatment works.
The council through a notice indicated that consumers were therefore encouraged to use water sparingly and store water in containers during such periods.
"Please be advised that Gwenoro Waster Treatment works will be without power everyday at 7am to 5pm starting on November 18 until further notice," reads the notice.
"ZETDC will be switching off power in order to carry out maintenance work on the supply line."
