A political commentator Tinashe Rudhumbu  has questioned if  President Robert Mugabe in his life time will ever wish the opposition political parties well considering the escalating retribution and brutality committed by the state security agents on the opposition members during demonstrations or protests.

This come in the work of an outgoing Gambian President having congratulated the president elect who defeated him during recent polls. However Zimbabwe has continued to be characterized by heavy handedness by the Zanu PF government against opposition amid allegations of election rigging during many times of elections that have taken place in the country since 1980 when the ruling Zaniu PF got into power.ยท

"When is Robert Mugabe going to make a call like this?Telling the opposition that I wish you well. Our frustration in Zimbabwe has often been misinterpreted as being contemptuous to the authority of high office. The irony is that Africa elsewhere appear to be moving forward.Even though in piece meals, she is on the move. This other small country from far south might be an impediment for too long.Who else in the world is led by a man who wear diapers?" Rudhumbu said.
