Murambinda sex worker found unconscious, undressed

A well known sex worker at Murambinda Growth Point was found undressed and unconscious near a maize field last Thursday and residents first thought she was a witch.
Fungai Nzira who resides at the growth point was found in the morning by people walking through a maize field near Madziyire School.
It is not clear what happened but there was a lot of speculation at the growth point with some saying she could have been attacked by robbers.
Effort to get comment from the Police was fruitless. Headman Daniel Muradzikwa Chikuwa of Ward 15 confirmed the incident and said he found Nzira by the side of the road near a maize field while he was driving to Murambinda with some passengers.
"She had severe wounds on her head. I took her to Murambinda Police Station where she was rushed to Murambinda General Hospital where she was immediately transferred to Mutare General Hospital," said Chikuwa.
