Three die in head-on collision

Two people reportedly died on the spot when the vehicles they were travelling in collided along Guruve-Mvurwi highway in Tengenenge last night.
The accident happened around midnight.
A source told Bulawayo24.com that "the Mitsubishi driver tried to avoid a dead dog on his lane, encroaching the opposite lane resulting in a head-on collision with a Toyota pickup. Two people died on the spot and another one died at Guruve hospital."

Guruve traffic police attended the accident.
Bodies of the deceased were taken to Guruve mortuary for safe keeping.

Efforts to contact Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe were futile.
