SEX is never for free!

A Chinese man based in Bulawayo learnt the hard way that sex is not for free when he was hospitalised following an attack by a prostitute who ganged up with her friends as punishment for refusing to pay for the services she had allegedly rendered to him.

Zhao Zhong Qiang (52) from Hope Fountain Milling Centre was rushed to United Bulawayo Hospitals for treatment after Tsitsi Mapurisa (30) from Douglasdale teamed up with her friends and allegedly attacked him.

According to reports Qiang who sustained deep cuts on his face and other injuries all over his body after he was attacked with stones, sticks and booted feet is currently admitted to United Bulawayo Hospital.

Circumstances are that on 17 February at around 8pm, Qiang was drinking beer at Douglasdale Bottle Store when he was approached by one of Mapurisa's friends who forcibly took his beer leading to an argument which forced Mapurisa to intervene while accusing Qiang of being "stingy" after he refused to pay for the services she had rendered to him.

It is alleged at the height of the altercation Mapurisa then struck her client with stones and he fell down.

Mapurisa and her accomplices then exploited the opportunity when they ganged up and brutally assaulted the helpless Qiang who was lying on the ground all over the body with stones, sticks and booted feet.

After the attack Qiang went and reported the matter to the police leading to Mapurisa's arrest.

For the offence she was dragged before Bulawayo magistrate Franklin Mkhwananzi charged with assault.

Mapurisa denied the charges saying she was not the only one who attacked her client but she later joined the attack only to "fix" Qiang because he had not paid her for the sexual services she had rendered to him the previous day.

The matter was postponed to 16 March for trial and Mapurisa is out of custody on free bail. Prosecutor Tawurayi Hondoyemoto who is representing the State said a medical report was going to be produced as evidence in court.
