Massive scandal rocks Lupane Passport office

Mthwakazi Republic Party is saddened by the level of corruption at Lupane Passport office. The party's intelligence department through a tip-off raised by the Lupane residents has today unearthed a massive act of corruption by the officials at the Matebeleland North headquarters.
The massive corruption scandal which was witnessed by the MRP intelligence department is so much disturbing. Scores of people from Harare and as far as Masvingo were today being served with urgent passports.
The unknowing visitors from Harare and Masvingo were heard talking in small groups saying they have been invited to come and apply from Lupane office which is not heavily congested like Harare and Bulawayo. These people are made to pay bribes of about $100 USD to the officials. The Lupane locals are finding it difficult to raise such amounts to bribe the officials.
It is now clear that the locals no longer benefit from their provincial offices which is supposed to be servicing all the seven districts of Matebeleland North namely Lupane, Binga, Bubi, Nkayi, Tsholotsho, UMguza and Hwange. According to our research, it is in this region where we have low statistics on identity documentation in the whole of Mthwakazi.
This act of corruption makes the lives of our people more difficult and the locals had thought that the introduction of the Passport office to their doorstep was meant to lessen the burden of travelling to Bulawayo where there is a lot of congestion.
