ZNLF mourns Tomana

Zimbabwe National Lawyers Forum (ZNLF) has sent its condolence message to the Tomana family following the passing on the late National Hero Johannes Tomana who died recently.
Zimbabwe National Lawyers Forum (ZNLF), a Pan African organisation of lawyers, learnt with utmost shock and sadness on the untimely passing on of Zimbabwe Ambassador to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and former Attorney General and Prosecutor General of Republic of Zimbabwe, Mr Johannes Tomana.
Mr Tomana was a rare breed of modern day jurist who served his country with honour commitment and loyalty.
Our sincere condolences to Mrs Tomana the Tomana Family, friends and the entire legal fraternity for the loss," reads ZNLF's statement.
President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, Wednesday announced the hero status conferment to Tomana's family at his Glen Lorne residence in Harare.
Tomana, a former Attorney General and Prosecutor General passed away on August 6, 2023 after a short illness.
