Bless It Up bus in fatal head-on collision with a truck

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed a fatal road traffic accident that occurred on 28 February 2026 at the 87km peg along the Harare–Masvingo Road.
A Bless It Up bus, carrying 32 passengers and travelling towards Harare, collided with a Heyman Kole truck that was heading in the opposite direction towards Masvingo. The truck had no passengers on board at the time of the crash.
Both drivers died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. Several injured passengers were transported to Chivhu General Hospital for medical treatment.
Police said further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the accident will be released in due course.
