Dynamos are on the brink of securing the signature of highly-rated Ghanaian defensive midfielder Godknows Dzakpasu as they look to strengthen their squad before the close of the mid-season transfer window.

The deal is expected to be concluded this week, with the 29-year-old set to travel to Zimbabwe before the weekend once the remaining contractual details have been finalised.

Dzakpasu is regarded as one of the standout defensive midfielders in the Ghana Premier League, having impressed during the 2025/26 season with his commanding displays in the heart of midfield.

His arrival would provide a timely boost for the Harare giants, who are seeking to reinforce their squad as they aim to improve their fortunes in the second half of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League campaign.

The player's agent, George Deda, confirmed that negotiations were underway but declined to comment further on the proposed move.

"There are ongoing negotiations," Deda said, referring further enquiries to the Dynamos management.

Dynamos have yet to make an official announcement on the transfer, but sources close to the negotiations indicate the move is in its final stages.

Should the deal be completed, Dzakpasu would become one of the club's key mid-season acquisitions as DeMbare seek to bolster their midfield with an experienced player from one of West Africa's most competitive leagues.
