China donates 19,000 MT rice to Zimbabwe

China has donated 19 000 metric tons of rice to Zimbabwe.
According to the Ministry of Health the donation shows China's commitment in supporting Zimbabwe fight the current Elnino induced drought.
Of the 5,500mt donated rice 100t was allocated to the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC).
Health and Child Care Minister Dr David Parirenyatwa said "the beneficiaries will be the patients."
One critic on Twitter said Zimbabwe should "get the original and proper farmers back in the country and fund them and you can surely feed yourself"
