Despite the purchase of police cars worth over USD$1 million, cops in Guruve district have become a menace in public transport.
Every morning Mvurwi Guruve highway is painted with police colours together with their suspects looking for public transport.
Zimbabwe Republic Police recently acquired buses, utility trucks and traffic enforcement vehicles worth $1 million.
Some of the ZRP operational vehicles which were commisioned by Minister of home affairs Dr Ignatius Chombo in Harare this month.
One cop who spoke to Bulawayo24.com said: "I wonder what they've done with all those new cars, we are still struggling to here."
