Mthwakazi Republic Party will be launching its Manifesto on Thursday.
Party spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo said party President Mqondisi Moyo will on Thursday evening hold a press conference at the Royal hotel Press Club.
"The event would be specifically to launch the much anticipated party's Manifesto. This is the time which our people have been waiting for. The party's campaign blue print is entitled "REST INDLOVU MANIFESTO." The blue print mainly focuses on Restoration, Empowerment, Self-determination and Transformation which is abbreviated as "REST". MRP as it has been previously explained, believes that it is of great importance for the people of Mthwakazi to unite and come together to defend Mthwakazi through voting," he said.
"As a party we are targeting to win the Council and Parliamentary seats in all Mthwakazi provinces as part of our efforts to free ourselves from Harare as we march towards Mthwakazi Restoration. On the 18th of October 2017 there will be MRP strategic planning meeting which would be held in Bulawayo ahead of the Manifesto's official launch."
He said the meeting will be attended by the NEC members, provincial and district executive members as well as the party's prospective Parliamentary and local government candidates.
"The party believes that Mthwakazi belongs to Mthwakazi people, nothing can be done in Bulawayo without us hence the need to make sure we close out both ZANU and MDCs from Mthwakazi state," he said.
