Mohadi is just a place holder

VICE-PRESIDENT Kembo Mohadi is hardly known by all and sundry because he represents nobody. Nobody voted for him. He is in the Executive by default, thanks to the political wizardry in the form of the so-called 1987 Unity Accord, not a national but partisan arrangement.

Mohadi should learn to keep his mouth shut and take a leaf from the extravagant former Vice-President Phelekezela Mphoko, who is now languishing in the political wilderness with no one sympathising with him.

Mohadi does not have any powers at all. He is a figure head who has neither significance nor relevance. Like a dog seeing a bone in the mirror, he cannot and will never devour the bone.

He is just like a dog on a leash ready to bark on the whims of his lord and master.
