TODAY'S WORD

Proverbs 19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given.

I have heard in the corridors, In street corners and at the taxi from different troubled people. Many of whom are in need of economic fortunes and the formula thereof. Some suggested that their pastors had a method that you give your pastor what you have be it a car, a house, money or whatever, in turn it will come in volumes. In as much as l wouldn't love to draw myself into the argument. I have a suggestion from the Bible in form of today's verse.

Give to the poor and lend to God, in turn He will pay back what you have given. That's the formula. This is what Jesus meant when he said _where your treasure is, there your heart is also._
We have a kid who excelled greatly to attain 4 units at grade seven exams. She is not learning due to financial challenges. Isn't this a cause enough for Christians to extend their helping hand. The truth is; God has blessed someone with the little that she can go to school. But the stewards are withholding. Let's donate for a good cause.
