Politicising Masowe issue a non event

03 Jun 2014 at 14:22hrs | Views

When there is no political issue to pursue, it is prudent to redirect our emphasis towards national development rather than unreasonably downplay each other in what l may term "aggravated political immaturity".

MDC T's mouthpiece, the Daily News's publication of 1 June 2014, shamelessly twisted the ZRP-Masowe feud into utter political nonsense in a bid to enhance their vague politicking and parroting for the political party that is helplessly searching for grip to pull out from the political graveyard.

Some sections of the media have tried to sour the cordial relations between President Mugabe and the apostolic sect. Madzibaba Lawrence Katsiru, one of the custodians of the Johanne Masowe eChishanu, came out in full force and denounced the lawlessness that has been embraced by detractors of peace and development. He apologised to the President, Zimbabwe Republic Police and the journalist who were attacked.

The desperate quest for power by the MDC T blinds the party to worship whoever is willing to give them political mileage regardless of the costs, implications or repercussions. Their paddlers of lies blatantly acclaim the arrest of the perpetrators of violence as a turn by ZANU PF against the Mapositori. In this instance, it is farfetched and absurd to say the course of justice is war between Mugabe and the rogue apostles. When will the MDC T and its sympathisers respect the rule of law and let go off playing dump.

If this is what MDC T call political relevance, "Mugabe turns against Masowe?", then God's wisdom has surely disserted some of our journalists and opposition politicians.

The dull insinuation simply confirms that indeed MDC T is identifiable with violence and can subscribe to anything that renders despondency. No wonder the MDC T cherish the whites regardless of their bringing of untold suffering to this land. The MDC T simply applauds the Westerners because of their political capital which manifest through bullying of the economies that do not advance their imperialistic agendas.

Efforts towards African emancipation from violence and poverty will thus forever be self defeating given the mindset that has seen people celebrating the attack of the police. Indeed such unbecoming behaviour exposes the nation to those with their subversive and imperialistic ambitions.

Some overzealous characters referred to the mishap as a sign from the above to cause mayhem. Such misguided elements are hopeless surrogates of a Tsvangirai regime change spend force.

They should save Tsvangirai from hypertension by unnecessarily raising false hope. The man has toiled enough with the economic sanctions brought about by the Biti rebellion which took with it all the financials.

The gods are certainly not crazy and a turn of tables has indeed taken place. What goes around comes around Save. What you are feeling (financial constrains) and social anarchy is what most Zimbabweans endured for the past decade.

He, who lives by the sword, dies of the sword.
