Zimbabwe free election not feasible except after transition government setting succeeded

The United Kingdom Ambassador Catriona Laing is quite right and so is President Ian Khama of Botswana that Zimbabwe, cannot see free elections for as long as Zanu hierarchical ladder retains power irrespective of whether or not Mr. Robert Mugabe retires from politics or by natural wastage. It is false hope to think that anyone who takes over by any means under Zanu patronage will respect constitutional and supervise the demise of Zanu.
The politics in Zimbabwe has slowly built a pillage of false victory by Zanu party as the architecture of Zimbabwe liberation struggle, freedom and democracy. The present generation in Zimbabwe has resorted to working their hearts out in the hope politics is irrelevant as a desire to meet their selfish ambitions based on false successes of the likes of Chiyangwa Phillip and Kasukuweres of corrupt Zimbabwe. None wants to tell the present generation in Zimbabwe that it is an act of self denial to concentrate on creating wealth through corruption ignoring politics in the hope bad governance will wake up just gone one morning.
Bad governance in Zimbabwe is not an accident except we agree it is an act of incompetence by Mr. Mugabe and his cohorts and surrogates who have gathered a strong team built on corrupt practices as line of defense against any opposition founded on need for rule of law to return the country to democracy. To the current Zanu government no matter how it is altered, rigging elections is a way of survival and will not be done away with for as long as they are in charge of electoral processes including voters' role.
It is naïve to the extreme talking of free elections conducted by Mr. Robert Mugabe or any of his surrogates. It is inconceivable therefore to focus on 2018 elections except as a people we are in denial of reality, namely, Zanu as a system are rotten, have no regards of rule of law and human rights at all. All current Zanu members of parliament and ministers are eithers a recycled political spent force to a younger generation below Mr. Mugabe generation. Below forty years is an age group dangerous who have been used to carry all dirty works of arson, murder, abduction and causing terror in rural areas including some ex-combatants who feel self importance to have carried the struggle single handed without support of the masses.
It is these false premises on which foundation of assuming autocratic powers in the country has driven its distortion and miscarriage of justice in implementing rule of law. Year after year after 1980 and after shows a history filled with increased brutality to ordinary people, abductions of vocal citizens and physical elimination of others on another hand. President Robert Mugabe to this date keeps blaming the west for his failure to run the country orderly, efficiently providing good governance.
The irresponsibility of Mr. Mugabe and his surrogates should be now treated as a heinous crime of a state against humanity. At its worst the regime has to face dire compulsion for Mr. Mugabe and his political party to comply to diplomatic pressure to retire immediately and allow a Transitional Government to enable the country heal and people easy from traumatic conditions they existed under for the last thirty years.
Only under the Transitional Government can we talk of transiting through to a free and fair election in Zimbabwe. This is how:
The sad realty facing any suggestion otherwise is that Zanu through her surrogates is campaigning for no change or if need be putting their candidates as Transition Government members so as to return powers back into the hands of Zanu. As such a very careful group of ordinary citizens who have held the rule of law and spoken strongly on it will have to drive the passion of forming a transition under guidance and help of world institutions.
The world group of Elders has to endorse this cause and already a group of reputable citizens who have never worked with Zanu government is forming and should at anytime announce itself to the Public of Zimbabweans ready to help run a transitional government and supervise elections to end the transition.

Only under the Transitional Government can we talk of transiting through to a free and fair election in Zimbabwe. This is how:
- The Police forces, the security forces and intelligence forces need reorientation from partisan demagogues to being a team of professionals who uphold the rule of law than take side with a regime to enforce corruption practices.
- Some top officials need to be retired from service to allow for impartial enforcement of professional changes in compliance with the reformed constitution. These are the registrar in charge of the registration of voters and the voters' role, judge in charge of the electoral processes and heads of departments of all institutions mentioned in (1) above and replaced by candidates either recruited on secondment from friendly governments or from Zimbabweans with professional track records from abroad.
- A council of Zimbabweans from outside and inside professionally and with considerable experience and skills in political and corporate governance takes the role of cabinet to run the country with existing team of civil servants selectively chosen to spearhead change to the stage an elected government takes over after a three years' duration.
- United Nations, Common wealth and African Union provide with relevant financial resources to meet repayments and previous government failed loans
The sad realty facing any suggestion otherwise is that Zanu through her surrogates is campaigning for no change or if need be putting their candidates as Transition Government members so as to return powers back into the hands of Zanu.
