As the Commissioner General of Police'sports Gala is moving closer, Officer Commanding Police Matebeleland North Province  Senior Assistant Commissioner Munoriarwa has called for the preparations at district level ahead of the big event.

Lupane District officer Commanding has called for the payment of $50-00 by each police officer under his command as affiliation towards the district and provincial Gala.

Some officers within the district have since paid the demanded amount save for those of ZRP Tsholotsho.It is however reported that on Monday 2February 2015, The officer in charge Adminstration at Z.R.P Tsholotsho Insp Sibanda issued Z.R.P forms 71 "Notice to Resign" to almost half the station staff which did not comply to the command of the officer commanding police Lupane District C/spt J.C Govo. Sources within the station have since confirmed the issuance of the forms 71by the officer in charge Adminstration .

Inspector Sibanda is left in charge  of ZRP Tsholotsho following the annual leave of C/Insp Gideon Chapeyama which commenced late last month.

"Its like  Shef Sibanda is failing to resist pressure from the Dispol hence he want to scare members through issuance of these forms"said a source who preferred anonmity due to fear of victimisation.There are however two ways in which a police officer can leave the force, that is either by resgnation or retirement and discharge.It is however reported that only few junior members who have fear of loosing their jobs have since paid up the required money. Of late a snake was seen in the Adminstration office and was eventually killed by the so called constable Jeme of Crime Statistics office of the same station.

Meanwhile, the officer commanding district has however warned Officers in charge stations not to harrass their subodinates.
